4 Black History Month: A Poem Dedicated to the Strongest Force in the Movement and History of the World. THE BLACK WOMAN!
A Liturgy Concerning Black Women in Principle (pt.1)
Oh Mother Eve, Maryam, Hajar, Nzinga, Nefeteri, Cleopatra, Harriet, Princess Nanny, and all of our Mothers and Ancestor Queens before them, Your Sons Love your Essence, and we dance for U flexing biceps, hamstrings and chest…By Collective Manhood…We honor thy sanctified Breasts, & sacred Womb, which held our Souls for 10 cycles of the Moon, .By your Sacred Blood, Sweat and Tears…(Paradise)! We see Ur Big White Church hats praising Hallelulya singing we shall Overcome, talking about Revolution….By Ur Hijabs saying (Alhamdullah) in all languages Lamentations, Crying Lord Deliver Us…and Protect my child, like Moses’ Jesus & Emmett’s mothers, U delivered us in Slave ships sailing West Away from Africa…In your arms we slept and I remember so sweet your breath, until death We Love & Honor U the Black Woman!
